This one day course provides participants with an overview of how PK information is generated and used within drug development. Common PK terms are explained and the different methods used to analyse PK and pharmacodynamic (PD) data are introduced.
Throughout the course participants have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained through taking part in a selection of quizzes and case history exercises.
An Integrated Approach to PK in Drug Development
Following the course participants will have:
- Increased confidence to discuss PK matters within a drug development environment
- An understanding of common PK terms and their importance to therapeutic drug regimens
- An understanding of how PK data can influence the drug development programme
- An oversight of the PK methodology used in drug development
- An overview of how PK is integrated into clinical drug development
- An insight into the use of PK/PD in drug development
An Integrated Approach to PK in Drug Development
The course is intended for all professionals who have an interest in how PK is used within the drug development arena.
It is a general introduction to the area and does not require specialist knowledge of the subject.
